Newcastle’s Fat As Butter Festival have followed the new festival trend which is to announce headliners in advance of the main line up announcement. Newcastle’s Fat As Butter Festival has announced that this year’s event, which will be held on Saturday October 22nd. Set to help us relive those seminal moments of the 1990s such as ‘Hip Hop Hooray!’ and ‘O.P.P.?’, are none other than Grammy Award winning, U.S. platinum-album selling, New Jersey super-group, Naughty By Nature. With almost a twenty-year track record of creating the hits and party anthems that have become the soundtrack to our livesthey’re set to bring it all to Newcastle!
Joining them on the line up are none other than one of Australia’s biggest bands, The Living End! In a career stretching more than 10 years, the band has racked up a quintuple-platinum album, two platinum and five gold records and won three ARIA awards, and released some of the most popular albums ever in Australia. As they celebrate the release of their brand spanking new album The Ending Is Just The Beginning Repeating later this month with an extended club tour, they’ll also be dropping by Newcastle to co-headline this festival.
