The Rapture are set to head down under for the Future Music Festival (leaking their appearance). In anticipation of their arrival on our shores this month sees the release of their new album In The Grace Of Your Love, which we first got a taste of with the first single ‘How Deep Is Your Love’, which we described as ‘an extended slice of disco funk punk clocking in at a whopping 7 minutes.
Alas, it’s not a Bee Gees disco cover, but in terms of a relenting dancefloor workout, it certainly serves up a sweaty freakout in spades.’ The new album covers a lot of territory that the band have ventured in to before, but unlike many of the bands that first crossed our radar almost 10 years ago, the band still appear to ‘have it’.
