We should all know by now that British India isn’t a band that stays quiet for long. In the months since they wrapped up their epic 3-month long, 26-date ‘March Into The Ocean’ Tour, the Melbourne quartet have been busy in their newly built rehearsal studio penning the tunes that will eventually become their fourth album.
But in that time they must have developed cabin fever as they’re about to bust out and hit the road once more on their mischievously named ‘She Prefers Older Men’ Tour.
Bringing with them a bevy of support acts from Australia’s gritty garage rock scene, British India will be out to turn stages, green rooms and hotel lobbies nationwide upside down with their rascally antics.
Already announced for the East Coast dates are scuzzy sousers King Gizzard & The Wizard Lizard, while retro rockers The Frowning Clouds will link up in Victoria and surf punks Betty Airs will take opening honours in New South Wales.
Supports in Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia are yet to be announced.
