Since the dawn of the music festival, punters have deemed it a must to do the deed wherever they can. Perhaps it is the alcohol, or the fellow scantily-clad hotties roaming the festival grounds; maybe it is the sense of freedom that comes with driving hours away from civilisation to forget life for a few days at a time. Whatever the reason, punters will always find a way to get down and do the dirty.
Thankfully, sex toy retailer Lovehoney couldn’t take it anymore and decided to undertake the absolutely essential task of surveying 1000 festival-goers in an attempt to better understand this strange phenomenon.
As Teamrock reports, Lovehoney took it upon themselves to answer the burning questions we all had, like, which festival is the best place to do your thing at? Despite the mud, Glastonbury took out first place with an impressive 34% of punters choosing it as their festival of choice, while Creamfields came in second and metal festival Download made it to third place.
In a perhaps not at all surprising result, R&B was the most popular music of choice to get busy to, while rap music only saw 1% of the vote, and metal scored a respectable 8%.
Californian funk rockers Red Hot Chilli Peppers were the second most popular, for some reason, when asked which summer headliner would most likely put you in the mood, losing out only to Rihanna.
Of course the one question we all wanted answered, where is the best place for sex at a festival? Well, let’s just say the least popular place, thank god, is the portaloo – even losing out to the option of getting it on right in the middle of the crowd.
