Just over a year on from Mac Miller’s passing, more details are emerging surrounding the rapper’s accidental overdose.

Earlier in September, a man was arrested and charged for his connection to Miller at the time of his death; drug dealer Cameron James Petit being found to have supplied Miller with counterfeit Percocet pills. The pills, laced with fentanyl, cocaine and Xanax instead of oxycodone, led to the mixed toxicity found in Miller’s bloodstream.

Upon Petit’s arrest, Mac Miller’s father – Mark McCormick – spoke about what it meant to him and also told fans the dangers of drug use.

“All it takes is a little tiny stone of fentanyl and cocaine and you’re dead.” he said.

“Drugs are being laced with fentanyl, all kinds of drugs. The one thing I would say to you is don’t take the risk. It’s just not worth it.”

“They finally caught the motherfucker that sold him the drugs that killed him, and we find some comfort in that.”

Now, according to TMZ, another man has been arrested. Ryan Reavis was taken into custody after his home was searched and FBI and DEA agents found prescription-only pills, marijuana, guns, a doctor’s prescription pad and large amounts of ammo.

Police have not explicitly detailed the connection between Reavis and Miller, however a statement has noted that his arrest is part of the investigation into Miller’s death by the US DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration.)
