Alanis Morissette has announced a 25th-anniversary tour in support of her groundbreaking album, Jagged Little Pill. The tour will see Morissette accompanied by 90’s alt-rock royalty Liz Phair and Garbage. It truly is destined to be a night like the clubbing scene from 10 Things I Hate About You and I’m preemptively welling up thinking about the angsty glory.
The Jagged Little Pill Tour will see Morissette play her career-defining record in full, as well as a bunch of fan favourite cuts from her back catalogue. The 31-date tour will see the crew travel across North America throughout June and July — so if you were umming and ahhing about chasing an American summer, this is the sign you were looking for.
As if this absolute overload of good news wasn’t enough, Morissette has detailed a brand new album, Such Pretty Forks in the Road, set for release on May 1st, 2020. Fans have a taste of what to anticipate with lead single ‘Reasons I Drink’, which you can listen to below.
Tickets for the Jagged Little Pill Tour go on sale beginning Friday, December 13th via Ticketmaster.
