Amy Shark may have been edged out of the number one place in last week’s Hottest 100 by Flume, but this time it’s only Ed Sheeran who could stand in her way, as ‘Adore’ looks on course to top this week’s ARIA singles charts.

As we hit the mid-week point for sales, it would appear that Shark’s success in the Hottest 100 has resulted in a substantial sales bump for ‘Adore’, which sat at #13 in last week’s chart.

The song rose from #42 to #13 in the prior week, and the song’s Australia Day success will see it rise again – although whether she can beat either ‘Shape Of You’ or ‘Castle On The Hill’, Sheeran’s two singles, which currently hold the top two positions on the ARIA singles chart, will remain to be seen.
