The A$AP Rocky saga has seen another individual detained by law enforcement, after a fan was arrested after threatening to blow up the Swedish embassy in Washington, D.C.

A few weeks back, news came to light that US rapper A$AP Rocky had been placed in detention by Swedish police following his arrest over an alleged assault that took place days earlier.

Taking to Instagram, Rocky shared two videos of some unidentified men who were reportedly harassing him and his crew.

“We don’t know these guys and we didn’t want trouble, they followed us for 4 blocks, and they were slapping girls’ butts who passed, give me a break,” he noted, before later explaining that “we don’t want no problems with these boys, they keep following us.”

However, another video – acquired by TMZ – showed A$AP Rocky laying hands on one of the men, kicking and punching one of them after they had been thrown to the ground.

Since this news broke, numerous twists and turns have taken place, including US President Donald Trump even getting involved, before the rapper was formally charged with assault just last week, with a trial expected to begin soon.

As Billboard reports though, one fan of A$AP Rocky was apparently so incensed by his treatment that they decided to take matters into their own hands, levelling a threat against the Swedish embassy in Washington, D.C. last week.

Court documents claim that Rebecca Kanter entered the Swedish embassy last Monday, throwing a Coca Cola bottle at the door of the building, before allegedly claiming that “I’m going to blow this motherfucker up.”

Soon after the incident, US law enforcement issued an alert in regards to Kanter’s actions, only for the woman to return the following day, verbally berating embassy staff, kicking over a display and furniture, and refusing to leave when asked by staff.

Footage was also shared online of Kanter approaching a group of students and asking them where they are from and if they know their rights.

Following the first incident, Kanter reportedly took to social media to claim responsibility for what had happened, and implying other incidents may have also taken place.

“What isn’t it breaking news that I defiled the House of Sweden last night, that I vandalized the World Bank, that I vandalized the IMF,” she asked. “What aren’t I getting press for A$AP”

Rebecca Kanter was charged with a number of items, including damaging property of a foreign government, two criminal counts of unlawful entry, and destruction of property less than $1,000, and has since been released on bail.
