Independent recording artist AViVA is sending 2019 off with a bang by releasing her last single for the year, ‘PSYCHO’. We can think of no better way to end the week off than with this incredible new tune.
This brand new track comes off the back of her previous singles that have accumulated a massive 600 million streams worldwide. It’s an incredible achievement and we are obsessed with watching AViVA evolve and grow. She’s has had an absolutely packed 2019 with moving from Sydney to Los Angeles, and she has spent the year writing for her upcoming album and releasing music throughout the months. We cannot wait for her full-length project to finally come out, as the singles so far, such as ‘BLACKOUT’ have been addictive as hell.
AViVA’s single ‘PSYCHO’ is an emotional pop-rock anthem that calls her fans to band together against whatever the world pushes at them. Her emotional lyrics speak about themes of isolation and taking ownership of labels – somewhat of a common theme in AViVA’s music.

“This year has held a lot of great achievements and great challenges. Ending the year with the release of ‘PSYCHO’ felt right. This song is about what happens when people keep saying you’re something. It doesn’t matter what or who you are– sometimes the power of people’s words is enough to push you there ‘got it in my head; careful what you said’ sometimes that can be a good thing, sometimes it’s not… I guess I just want people to think about the power of what they say. And to realise that whatever they feel like inside. That’s okay.”
