Adelaide rockers Bad//Dreems are set to hit the road this July, serving up a series of tour dates in the lead-up to their new album.
Earlier this week, Bad//Dreems returned with their first new song in two years. Titled ‘Double Dreaming’, the track was one of 50 demos made for their third album, and recorded at Adelaide’s Twin Earth Studios with the production team of Burke Reid (Courtney Barnett, DZ Deathrays) and Jack Ladder.
Now, with album number three set for release in October, the Baddies are set to hit the ol’ frog and toad, announcing a run of Aussie tour dates for July.
Kicking off at The Foundry in Brisbane on July 4th, the group will hit up their hometown for a gig at the Lion Arts Factory, before ripping up the stage at Melbourne’s Howler, and putting a bow on it all with a show at the Marrickville Bowling Club on July 13th.
These shows will be part of the band’s first headline tour of the country in over two years, with 2017’s Gutful tour seeing them tear the roof off of a full house at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel.
However, before they hit up local stages, the group will be showing our English friends how it’s done, returning to the UK for the first time since 2015 next month.
Supporting the mighty Midnight Oil once again, Bad//Dreems will also be playing headline shows in Birmingham and Southampton, with the latter seeing them joined by none other than Dune Rats.
Tickets to Bad//Dreems’ upcoming Aussie tour are on sale now, with these shows undoubtedly set to be some of the most ferocious ones you’ll see all year.
