Adelaide rockers Bad//Dreems are set to make a live appearance this weekend, performing from the comfort of the home studio for Rolling Stone’s ‘In My Room’ series.

With live stages left empty due to the COVID-19 pandemic, fans have found themselves turning to the internet to receive the entertainment they so desperately desire, with artists frequently performing live sets for their loyal followers during these uncertain times.

One of these initiative has been Rolling Stone’s ‘In My Room’ series, which has seen artists performing very intimate sets from the comfort of their own homes. Kicking things off for the Australian leg, Rolling Stone recently teamed up with Brisbane’s Green Beacon to present a run of special performances from local acts.

With Cub Sport in the spotlight last week, more amazing acts on track to appear in the coming weeks, with the likes of Lime Cordiale and Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever on the way.

This weekend though, beloved Adelaide icons Bad//Dreems are on track to deliver a career-spanning set when they make an appearance at 7pm on Sunday evening.

Kicking things off with the first-ever live performance of ‘Cannonball’ from 2019’s Doomsday Ballet, frontman Ben Marwe and guitarist Ali Wells are joined by Dan Appleby (formerly of Archers) on bass and Hugh Black (Neighbours, and formerly of Archers and West Thebarton) on drums as they sit in for the group’s other members, who are currently over in Victoria.

As the set continues, they run through a version of crowd-favourite ‘Chills’, before capping things off with The Boys Next Door classic ‘Shivers’, as Marwe does his best to honour the words of the late Rowland S. Howard.
