Billie Eilish has officially claimed the title of being the pop star with the biggest vocabulary – in the modern era.

As per Consequence of Sounda recent study from Wordtips has confirmed this to be true, with Eilish using on average, 169 unique words out of 1000.

The artist who has the biggest vocabulary of all time according to the study is Patti Smith, who uses 217 unique words per 1000.

On the other end of the spectrum, artists like Trey Songz and Carly Rae Jepsen rank as using the least number of unique words per 1000, with 66 and 69 out of 1000, respectively.

As usual, size is not an indicator of performance, as if we look to the artists who rank using the least amount of words out of 1000, they’re some of the most popular artists past and present.

For example, Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson, Taylor Swift and Paul McCartney.

In a recent interview, Eilish spoke her thoughts on Britney Spears’ conservatorship, describing it as “really, really horrible”.

She said, “It’s really, really horrible what a lot of young women have gone through – I mean, to this day.”

“I didn’t have a team that wanted to fuck me over – which is really kind of rare, which (itself) is pretty fucked up,” she continued.

“All I have to be is just grateful that I happened to have a good group of people around me that… didn’t want to just take advantage of me and do what people have done in the past.”
