It looks like blink-182 and The Chainsmokers are officially joining forces with each other for some brand new tunes.

blink-182 have recently performed a brand new song with the Chainsmokers when the duo invited them onstage at their stop in Los Angeles at The Forum for the World War Joy tour.

The set comes months after the Chainsmokers revealed on Twitter that both bands were working on a new song together.

Kings of collaborations The Chainsmokers have been around for quite some time now, and have been working their way slowly to the top of the charts almost every summer that they show their faces. It’s simply poetic that they are now working with blink-182, since in 2016 the group gave a shoutout to the band in their collaboration with Halsey, ‘Closer’.

In the track’s second verse, Halsey mentions a track that was later revealed to be ‘I Miss You,’ singing, “Play that blink-182 song/That we beat to death in Tucson.”

The duo is currently on tour with 5 Seconds Of Summer, who they also dropped a song with earlier this year.

In January, the duo revealed via Twitter that they were in fact working with blink on some new music.

“Just did a session with blink-182 and wrote an amazing song. We can die happy now,” they tweeted.

When asked why, Hoppus replied in a now-deleted tweet “We’ve been friends with them for a few years and have tried to collaborate a bunch of different times, but today our schedules aligned and we were all in the same room at the same time.”

Ten months since the exchange, the two groups performed the new track live at the Chainsmokers tour stop in LA at The Forum.

The new song is titled ‘P.S. I Hope You’re Happy’ and you can hear it in full below.
