Sydney garage-punk-pop trio Bloods have signed with Shock Records for the release of their forthcoming EP Golden Fang, out Friday 16th August. Along with inking their new deal and new material, the trio are also hitting the road to play shows in support of Golden Fang.
Counting indie royalty Cat Power, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and pop babe Kate Nash amongst their fans – Bloods have shared stages with the likes of Dum Dum Girls, Redd Kross and DZ Deathrays since their 2011 inception and have gained much praise for their singles, including ‘Back To You’ which was #1 on AirIt for two weeks in a row, remaining in the top 20 for six weeks.
Now Bloods’ follow-up single ‘Into My Arms’ is set to pave the way for the six-track Golden Fang EP; a concentrated blast of dance-happy punk energy and sing-along energy in less than two minutes.
In celebration of all their great news, Bloods will hit the road for their first ever headline shows. The Golden Fang EP tour will visit Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane, with very special guests Major Leagues (Sydney/Melbourne) and The Fabergettes (Sydney/Newcastle) in tow.
