A newlywed in the US appears to have felt the force of thrash metal, with footage showing her being thrown out of a mosh pit to a Slayer classic at her own wedding.

What’s the wildest behaviour you’ve seen at a wedding? Like most of us, it’s likely the fact that an uncle got a little bit tipsy along the way and either turned the affair into a memorable barrel of laughs, or an uncomfortable event everyone tries to forget.

However, when it comes to the soundtrack of the wedding though, the music is usually the least offensive thing on offer.

In fact, most wedding DJs worth their salt would be well-versed in throwing down tunes that appeal to everyone, and ensuring that no opportunities arise for a rough-and-tumble mosh pit to sprout up.

As Metalsucks reports though, one wedding DJ in the US seemed to ignore this fact, masterfully dropping in a Slayer track that resulted in a mosh pit so severe that the bride herself fell victim to it.

According to the report, Adam Schwartz married his longtime partner Katherine P-G on September 21st, before the reception truly became one for the books.

Footage shows the wedding DJ chucking on Slayer’s ‘Raining Blood’ which soon resulted in a rather wild mosh pit.

In fact, it was so wild that the mass of rowdy well-wishers soon circled Katherine, who found herself involuntarily ejected from the raucous celebration and could be seen reacting with incredulousness at what just happened.

In related news, Aussie fans got a chance to see just how wild Slayer’s mosh pits really get when the band played their final local shows as part of the Download Festival lineup.

Slayer are set to officially wrap up their 38-year career with a Los Angeles show on November 30th. The group will also be releasing their The Repentless Killogy live album next month.
