Bring Me The Horizon, who announced an Australian tour earlier this week, performed at the NME Awards in Austin, Texas last night and frontman Oli Sykes apparently thought it might be a good idea to trash Coldplay’s table.

Apparently Sykes was still feeling a little raw about that time Chris Martin and his boys allegedly ripped off Bring Me The Horizon’s artwork, so he decided to march over to their table, break glasses and eventually their table.

As you can see in the clip below, the band took the whole thing pretty well, even getting out of their seats to give Sykes a standing ovation. As for that whole artwork thing, Martin told NME he’s never heard of BMTH.

However, Sykes and co appear to have made a good first impression, because Martin told NME of Bring Me The Horizon’s performance, “It was great, very rock n roll.” Readers can check out footage of the destruction below.
