If you’re familiar with the #FreeBritney movement and her recent tell-all doco, Framing Britney Spears (which you should be if you’ve read any news in the last month), then you’ll know that the pop star doesn’t openly share her thoughts on her situation. Finally, Britney’s official Twitter account weighs in on her conservatorship with a teeny tiny slither of information.

Britney – or perhaps, the person running her social media accounts – took to Twitter in a flurry of exclamation marks and delivered a wholesome message.

“Each person has their story and their take on other people’s stories !!!! We all have so many different bright beautiful lives !!! Remember, no matter what we think we know about a person’s life it is nothing compared to the actual person living behind the lens !!!!” The account posted.

To give you a quick low down on the drama surrounding Britney Spears atm, Britney has been living under the control of her father, Jamie Spears for the past 12 years. He has full control over everything in her life, including her money, career choices and her estate.

Concerned Britney fans started a movement in which they campaigned for her to gain control of her life again. The comments sections of Britney’s social media is littered with concerned questions about her situation, and fans also launched a website in support of her freedom.

More recently, The New York Times released a documentary called Framing Britney Spears surrounding the conservatorship and took viewers on a deep dive through her current situation.

Now, Page Six, one of the most trustworthy of the gossip rags, has revealed that Spears is ‘quietly’ collaborating with a ‘top female director’ to create a documentary about her life in her own words.

The anonymous ~source~ who shared this information also told the publication that in light of the doco, Spears “feels, for the first time in many years, that people are on her side and things will get better for her.”

While, under a conservatorship it will be virtually impossible for Spears to release a film without her conservator’s consent, here’s hoping everyones favourite pop queen can shake the shackles of her ‘Toxic’ father and once again regain her freedom.
