On the new collaboration, George Maple said “I had been listening to ‘Late Nights’ on repeat while I was in the studio working on the album in NY. I sent Carmouflage a DM on Instagram just saying how I loved the track, he wrote back with some nice emojis and said I have a song I think you’d be perfect for a verse…I wrote the verse on my laptop at my Airbnb the next day and recorded it a couple of days later when my engineer had a window in LA. It was all very fast paced and It felt so natural. I’m very happy to be involved.”
