The Cat Empire and Xavier Rudd have a lot in common. They’re two of Australia’s most beloved musical acts, they’re renowned for their live performances, and they’ll soon be sharing stages together all over the country as part of their unique co-headline tour.
This January, Rudd and The Cat Empire will embark on a series of picturesque open-air concerts in locations around Australia, including venues in Hobart, Ballarat, Byron Bay, Bribie Island, and Adelaide.
“I’ve always had a tonne of respect for The Cat Empire guys since the start,” says Rudd. “Deadly musicians and lovely people. Over the last 15 or so years touring around the world and seeing their posters in so many different towns and countries has always brought me a smile.”
“I guess it’s about time that we teamed up to do some shows together & I’m stoked to share a stage with these legends back on home soil early in 2017!” Joining Rudd and The Cat Empire will be Harts, Ocean Alley, and Sahara Beck.
