Classic house shows are a rare and wonderful thing in the world of hardcore, and they make for incredible viewing…from afar.
Recently surfaced footage of classic post-hardcore act Norma Jean raising hell in a living room attests to this, with the video captured on the band’s stop in Louisville, one of a handful of house shows that the band is doing on the wonderfully dubbed ‘Do Your Neighbours Like You?’ tour. Probably not, judging by the footage. Check it out below.

Of course, Australia is no stranger to chaotic floor shows, with the likes of Luca Brasi and Northlane just some of the names slinging guitars in living rooms and retail stores.
However, the prize for all-time greatest house show still remains firmly in the trophy cabinet of now-defunct mathcore act The Chariot, who had their show shut down in Perth, only to take it to a rank share-house in Perth. Check out the legendary footage below.
