Manchester United royalty David Beckham has collaborated with Madchester icons The Stone Roses on a capsule collection for British heritage label Kent & Curwen.

The collection was unveiled earlier this week through the label’s website. It features a limited edition range of t-shirts, sweatshirts, shirts, coats, jackets and bucket hats that all pay homage to John Squire’s iconic album artwork. Check it out below.

“Kent & Curwen Creative Director, Daniel Kearns grew up listening to The Stone Roses, for him, they are a band that established the look and the sound of the 90’s,” The video description reads. “The music and artwork created by The Stone Roses now forms the inspiration for the Kent & Curwen Spring/Summer 2019 collection which celebrates the feeling of British summertime, iconic British music and British culture.”

The collection is pretty pricey but aren’t all the best things in life? T-shirts are being flogged for £95 ($177 AUD), sweatshirts for £175 ($326 AUD) and a most importantly, the bucket hat will set you back £75 ($140 AUD). They said you can’t put a price on happiness but I’m not certain you can purchase it in the form of lemon embellished clothing. Just delicious.

David Beckham has been a longstanding fan of The Stone Roses. As NME notes, back in 2017 The Stone Roses dedicated their iconic 1989 track ‘This Is The One’ to Becks. Beckham naturally lost his absolute shit and the reaction is just priceless. Check it out below.

Back in October, The Stone Roses frontman Ian Brown announced his first solo record in 10 years, RipplesRipples is set to drop on March 1st, 2019. Brown wrote, recorded most of the instruments, self-produced and created the artwork for the record — a mighty impressive feat. Read more about it now.
