The Stone Roses’ Ian Brown announces new solo album, listen to first track “First World Problems”

Ian Brown, the singer of legendary Manchester brit-pop band The Stone Roses, has announced his first solo album in 10 years.

Ian Brown, the singer of legendary Madchester band The Stone Roses, has announced his first solo album in 10 years.

Ripples is for release on March 1st, 2019. The LP is the follow up to 2009’s My Way. As Consequence of Sound notes, Brown self-produced, wrote, created the artwork and played the majority of the instruments himself. His sons have co-writing credits on three songs.

Brown has given us a taste of what’s to come with new single ‘First World Problems’. Check it out below.
