It appears nothing can keep Denzel Curry down, with the riotous musician performing in a wheelchair after injuring his leg in Ireland recently.

Earlier this year, Denzel Curry made his return to Australia for the 2019 Laneway Festival, undoubtedly converting a few non-believers with his wild shows.

However, just a few days after the last tour date, Curry found himself in the triple j studios, where he delivered a mesmerisingly energetic cover of Rage Against The Machine’s ‘Bulls On Parade’ for the station’s Like A Version series.

Undoubtedly one of the most popular covers of all time, the performance has shown fans just how wild Denzel Curry can get when he’s in the zone. Now though, it appears he’s on the mend after an equally-wild performance left him injured to the point of needing a wheelchair.

On Saturday, Denzel Curry found himself performing at the Longitude Festival in Dublin, Ireland. However, it appears that while the show was turned up to 11, so were the morphine levels, with the musician injuring his leg during the performance.

Taking to Twitter that night, Curry revealed he was “stuck in a wheel chair from going to [sic] crazy last night in Dublin”, while an airport employee shared a similar Tweet, noting he had wheeled the artist around the airport, having been told he “twisted [his] leg jumping off stage”.

This injury doesn’t appear to have stopped him though, with Curry taking to the stage at London’s Wireless Festival on Sunday while confined to a wheelchair.

Footage from the London performance shows Denzel Curry performing in his wheelchair, before apparently feeling good enough to balance himself on the foldback speakers between hopping around during a typically-energetic rendition of one of his tracks.

Of course, fans are undoubtedly hoping he’ll have overcome this recent setback by October, when he’ll be visiting Australia as part of the Listen Out festival. Check out all the details below.
