Life is weird, man. I feel as if the fabric of the cosmos is disintegrating before my very eyes. I have no way to determine what is real or not anymore. In news that is so strange it almost feels normal: President Donald Trump has questioned the validity of blink-182 hero Tom Delonge’s UFO footage.

In case you missed it, earlier this week Tom DeLonge bore the fruit of his alien-hunting labour after the Pentagon confirmed that his UFO footage was real. In 2017 and 2018, DeLonge’s To the Stars Academy of Arts & Science released three videos to the general public — footage that has since been confirmed genuine by the US Navy.

“The Navy designates the objects contained in these videos as unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs),” Joe Gradisher, spokesperson for the deputy chief of naval operations for information warfare, told The Black Vault.

Whilst DeLonge may have the Pentagon and his former bandmates convinced that aliens exist, President Trump remains sceptical.

As Reuters reports, Trump was shown the footage during a recent press briefing. His reaction was described as lighthearted,” but the UFO-denying energy radiated off him like toxic matter.  “I just wonder if it’s real,” Trump said. “That’s a hell of a video.”

In other news, Tom DeLonge recently hinted that a potential Box Car Racer reunion was in the works.

In an interview with Rock Sound, DeLonge revealed. “I love the Box Car stuff. Me and Travis, still to this day, talk about doing Box Car all the time,” he continued. “Maybe there’s something that already exists that would be really cool for that band, but I’m not getting into that here.”
