They’re one of the most influential and successful rock bands of all time, and now the legendary Eagles will be making their return to Aussie shores next year.
Ever since they first got together almost 50 years ago in 1971, the Eagles have had an uncanny knack for pumping out the hits. In just seven years, they managed to record a total of six studio albums, all full of some of the most iconic rock songs of all time.
In fact, earlier this year, it was announced that the records Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 and Hotel California are now the first and third best-selling albums of all time, respectively. No matter how you look at it, hat’s one seriously impressive achievement.
Following a period of animosity between members of the group throughout the ’80s, they reformed in 1994, recorded one new album back in 2007, and even toured Australia a few more times before calling it quits following the death of Glenn Frey in 2016.
Now, with Frey’s son Deacon in the fold, the band have again reformed, and are set to make their way down to Australia next year.
Visiting as part of their 2019 world tour, the lineup of Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, Vince Gill and Deacon Frey are set to land on Aussie soil on March of 2019 for a tour that will see them hit up Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney.
Tickets to these shows go on sale on Monday, October 15th. The Sydney and Brisbane shows go sale from 12 noon, while the Melbourne gig will be up for grabs from 2pm that same day.
