Fans will be pleased to hear the Dainty Group who are touring Eminem later this year have officially announced a third date to the previously sold out tour.

However the excitement will be short lived for many fans in Brisbane who felt they were shortchanged when the original two dates were announced for Melbourne and Sydney, as the third show will also be held in Sydney.

Brisbane was the hotly rumoured location for a third date however there was speculation that fish laws unique to Queensland that would have prevented Eminem’s rider request for a koi fish pond ultimately scuttled plans to hold a concert there.

According to Sydney’s The Daily Telegraph who spoke to Paul Dainty, Chairman of Dainty Group, they had been inundated with over 15,000 emails from Eminem fans in Sydney asking for another show. The two original shows both sold out in under 30 minutes.

Dainty also has his thoughts on why Eminem has such broad appeal telling the newspaper “He’s made his music accessible to everyone although it did take a number of years to break through. This is the soundtrack of our kids’ generation; his music is part of their DNA and this is going to be one of the outstanding shows of the year.”

Tickets for the final show go on sale on November 16 which will be held at Sydney Football Stadium on December 4.
