It’s undeniable that the world wasn’t quite ready for the collaboration that was Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz when it was released in 2014. The ultra-psychedelic project saw Miley Cyrus shred any sense of clean-Disney veneer she had left and embrace the weird and whacky alongside The Flaming Lips.

Always one to keep music fans on their toes, Wayne Coyne recently spoke to NME about the band’s current plans and their new and exciting ventures, especially their liking for pressing vinyl with untraditional liquids. The band most recently released a vinyl pressed with their own pink beer called ‘Dragons & YumYums’, for Record Store Day 2018, described as an “epic, sensory enveloping experience.”

“You can’t really up the ante too much from human blood, but maybe when the beer is your own beer – the beer was made especially for the Flaming Lips and has our influence in its taste and colour” said Coyne.

He added what the plans for a new vinyl pressing would be, and, let’s just say we’re not too surprised at this point – the eccentric muso said that he’d like to include “Miley Cyrus’ pee” in a new pressing to really “up the ante.”

“That’s not as insane as having a little bit of Erykah Badu, and Chris Martin’s blood in your records. Probably not as insane as that, but still pretty great.”

“The next record we were talking about releasing was the Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz record. We’d get a good amount of Miley’s pee and mix it with some glitter and put that in. I think that would up the ante. Don’t you?”

Would you buy it?
