Foals can now count themselves as the latest high profile musicians who have appeared in cultural TV sensation Game of Thrones.

You probably didn’t catch a glimpse unless you were really looking out for it, but singer-songwriter Chris Stapleton and Foals members Jack Bevan and Jimmy Smith all snapped up a feature in record-breaking G.O.T episode, ‘The Long Night.’

Stapleton was cast for the role of a dead guy, caught in an epic battle between the living and the dead at Winterfell.

In a statement to Rolling Stone, he explained: “[The directors] knew we weren’t actors. So the direction was basically, we’re going to place you, and when we tell you to, open your eyes. And they trained us on how White Walkers are supposed to stand up and move when they’re first waking up. We had a crash course in that.”

Meanwhile, our fave blocks in Foals also managed to score roles in the Night King’s army.

“Last February our manager managed to get a lovely crew of us all into the Battle of Winterfell,” Bevan posted on Instagram. “Sadly, I don’t think we survived the night. It really was one of the coolest experiences I’ve had. Cheers to the best show of all time!”

In a cheeky twist, Bevan has also offered to “buy a Dairy Milk” for any lucky individual who can grab a freeze-frame of him in the show.

In case you don’t remember, Ed Sheeran was legit in an episode of Game of Thrones, too. Other musos who’ve caught the chance to appear in episodes include Coldplay’s drummer, and Mastodon.
