Somehow, in between everything else they have going on, the Foo Fighters have found the time to ready the release of a new EP, 01070725.

Featuring five tracks, the surprise EP record hosts live recordings, demos and some covers. Interesting swerves come in their reworks of Arcade Fire’s ‘Keep The Car Running’ and Dead Kennedys’ ‘Holiday in Cambodia’.

The EP release is the first ‘release’ from the Foo Fighters since they dropped their Concrete and Gold album back in 2017. Since then, the band has been touring relentlessly. Now, two years on, fans are getting edgy in anticipating brand new music.

From the band themselves, not much has been let slip in terms of a new Fooies record, aside from Taylor Hawkins noting that they would be hopping back into the studio once their tour schedule calmed down.

“From what I’ve heard from our fearless leader Dave Grohl, he has a lot of demos that he’s worked on and I think we’ll start once this tour is over.”

The album would be the tenth studio album from the Foo Fighters.
