Frank Ocean is no stranger to doing things his own way. Why, we only need to look at the release of last year’s Endless and Blonde to see that. However, many dedicated fans of Ocean may also be aware of the fact that chances to see him have been slim at best over the last three years. Thankfully, Ocean has broken that drought today, playing his first show in three years.

As Pitchfork reports, Ocean performed a headlining set at Denmark’s NorthSide Festival, his first show in three years. Ocean’s last performance was at America’s Bonnaroo festival in 2014. Some scheduled performances followed, however they were cancelled, leading to a three year gap in Frank Ocean performances.

As one would expect then, his set in Denmark today featured quite a few songs that had never been played live before. In fact, out of the 20-song setlist that he performed, only three tracks (‘Ivy’, ‘Thinkin’ About You’, and ‘Pyramids’) had been performed live before. Ocean also performed a cover of The Jackson 5’s ‘Never Can Say Goodbye’. Kicking things off with ‘Pretty Sweet’, Ocean continued through a set full of of tracks from his newest releases, before finishing off with his immensely popular track ‘Nikes’.

Considering that Ocean’s performance is only a couple of hours old at this point, there are yet to be any official video recordings of the set released. However, some fan-shot videos have emerged, which can be viewed below.
