The Golden Plains festival has revealed its 2027 lineup, which will be headlined by US favourites, Geese.

Going ahead at Victoria’s Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre from March 6th-8th, the festival’s nineteenth edition will also boast a number of high-profile international and local talent, including Underworld, Peter Garrett & The Alter Egos, Miss Kannina, Angine de Poitrine, Tinariwen and Haute & Freddy.

Check out the full lineup below.

The news follows the release of Geese frontman Cameron Winter’s concert film, Cameron Winter at Carnegie Hall, which was directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson. Rolling Stone called the film one of the best concert movies ever made.

“Anderson’s collaboration with this gifted young man nails the one thing that every great concert movie tries to give to those who could not be there for the original moment,” the review states.

“It does not just put you inside the theatre. It makes you feel like you’re inside the music.”

Meanwhile, Winter returns to Australia having performed at the Sydney Opera House in February, which we gave a 4.5 star rating.

“It’s incredible to think that Winter is producing this high calibre of work, both on his own and with Geese, at just 23 years of age,” the review reads. “This brilliant performance, which earns Winter an enthusiastic standing ovation, gives the overwhelming impression that there are even better things to come from a songwriter who is proving himself to be one of his generation’s finest.”

The second round Golden Plain’s ballot is open now until 10:19pm AEDT, on Monday, October 19th. Enter here.
