If you don’t envision yourself as a member of like, a chic leather-clad girl gang every time you listen to HAIM I’m sorry but you’re a fucking liar. There’s something about that band and their jaunty, delicious, brand of indie-rock that transports my mind’s eye to a sacred place. A place where I’m six foot one, with hair that cascades down to my hips, donning a turtle neck that never seems to attract make up residue.

My dreams of becoming the fourth, secret member of HAIM now seem a little less far-reaching. The sisters have announced, that in anticipation for the release of their new album, Women In Music Pt. III, they will be hosting dance classes every Sunday. Those who sign up will be taught some off the band’s “most iconic choreo” from their music videos, by Este, Alana, and Danielle themselves. After these lessons, Paul Thomas Anderson will be glued to the dog and bone, practically begging you to star in his next feature.

“Dance with us every Sunday, for the next four Sundays,” the trio say in a suitably silly announcement video. Watch below.

Women in Music Pt. III will mark HAIM’s first album since their sunsoaked 2017 sophomore Something to Tell You, and is set to drop on Friday, 26th June. Fans have already had a taste of what to expect with a slew of delectable singles, including ‘Summer Girl’, ‘Now I’m In It’, ‘Hallelujah’ and ‘The Steps’.

Last month, the band announced that they were postponing the release of the album amid “everything that is going on with COVID-19 and the changing nature of travel policies and quarantines across the world.”

Patience is pleasures greatest advocate and besides, we need these next four weeks of dance lessons to work up the leg strength to carry us through all the bedroom dancing Women In Music Pt. III is going to ask of us.
