Jack White is getting ready to unleash his long-awaited third solo record this week, and to celebrate, he recently made his return to the live stage with a series of intimate concerts at his Third Man Records headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee.

As Consequence Of Sound reports, Jack White played a series of three concerts to some lucky fans at Third Man Records’ Blue Room last week. The fist gig, which took place on March 15th, marked the first time that White had played a live gig since all the way back in October of 2016.

While recording devices and mobile phones were prohibited at the events, some helpful fans posted the setlists for the first two shows, giving us an idea about the sort of setlist that fans can expect from upcoming Jack White shows.

In between debuting tracks from his new record, Boarding House Reach, for the first time, including ‘Over And Over And Over’, ‘Corporation’, ‘Connected By Love’, ‘Respect Commander’, ‘Hypermisophoniac’, and many more, White also drew from his extensive back catalogue, treating those in attendance to tunes from his work with The White Stripes, The Dead Weather and The Raconteurs (or  ‘The Saboteurs’ for us Aussies).

Boarding House Reach is set to be released this Friday, March 23rd, but at this stage, there’s no word as to whether or not Aussies will be seeing Jack White on our shores in celebration of the new record. As it stands, Jack White hasn’t been back to Australia since his Splendour In The Grass appearance all the way back in 2012, so needless to say, he’s well overdue.
