A performance by Jay-Z and Beyoncé ended with a bit of a ruckus on Saturday night, after a stage invader was tackled by both security and dancers.
At the moment, Jay-Z and Beyoncé are deep into the American leg of their ‘On The Run II Tour’, which has seen the pair team up to deliver some marathon concerts featuring a vast array of timeless hits. However, their recent performance ended up with a bit of extra personnel on the stage.
As The Mirror reports, as the pair ended their show in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday night, a fan casually jumped up onstage and attempted to make their way to the backstage area.
By the looks of things, both backup dancers and security were either unaware of the fan’s presence, or shocked at their brazen attempt to get backstage, because it took them a while to realise what was going on and spring into action.
However, after a few moments, dancers and security can be seen tackling the stage invader as a clueless audience looked on in shock. Certain angles of fan-shot footage appear to indicate that the uninvited guest was roughed up quite a bit as the show came to an end.

While it’s not clear who the fan in question that invaded the stage was, Beyoncé’s publicist Yvette Noel-Schure took to Instagram that the pair were not effected by the altercation.
“Beyonce and JAY-Z on stage tonight in Atlanta,” she explained. “Thank you to all the fans for your concern,” she wrote. “They are fine and looking forward to the show tomorrow.
This incident comes just a matter of weeks after it was revealed that the musical power couple had their request to rent out Italy’s Colosseum denied.
While the duo’s plans for the iconic location were kept under wraps, the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage explained that scientist Alberto Angela had already booked the location, making this one of the first times the pair were turned down for anything in recent memory.
