Melbourne based Australian-American singer-songwriter Joe Forrester has recently unveiled his latest single ‘Funeral’ and for those uninitiated it’s a perfect introduction to Forrester’s unique songwriting capabilities.
Having previously played drums and various instruments in an array of bands for over ten years, Forrester’s solo efforts now focus on the pen to create his preferred tongue-in-cheek (something that’s pretty clear in ‘Funeral’).
Engineered, Mixed by Sam Lowe (Sam Lowe Sound) and mastered by John Ruberto (Mastersound Studios), with drums recorded at Black Pearl Studios, Morrabbin, and acoustic Guitar at Salt Studios, it’s fair to say ‘Funeral’ is a well travelled pop, punk, and folk rock gem.
