Legendary songwriter Joni Mitchell has made a pretty big call. She’s called Bob Dylan a plagiarist in an interview with the Los Angeles Times. Commenting on Bob changing his name from Robert Zimmerman, she said: “Bob is not authentic at all. He’s a plagiarist, and his name and voice are fake. Everything about Bob is a deception. We are like night and day, he and I.”

Not wanting to let the saucer of milk dry up, she also took the opportunity to have a cat fight against the dead by saying that she didn’t like the music business objectifying her as a woman. “Grace Slick [of Jefferson Airplane] and Janis Joplin were [sleeping with] their whole bands and falling down drunk, and nobody came after them!”

She’s apparently suffering from a disease called Morgellons which makes weird growths come out of her skin, and also clearly leads to ranting against other musos in the press.
