Watch the throne. Kanye West has tapped fellow music mogul Jay-Z to be his vice president in the forthcoming 2020 election.
In a new interview with a blogger named Kris Kaylin (via TMZ), Kanye explained that he took South Carolina’s “S.C.” initials as a sign he should tap Sean Carter, a.k.a. JAY-Z to be his vice president.
“I look at the codes, I look at the signs,” Kanye explained. Gemini vibes.
Kanye continued, “I reached out to Jay to possibly be my vice president, my running mate. We have Michelle Tidball, who is a Christian pastor out of Wyoming, who is my running mate. But she would be open to taking another position if we found another running mate.”
Kanye West’s presidential run has been bizarre in every conceivable way. Over the weekend, the 43-year-old rapper hosted his first presidential rally at the Uxquis Event Center in North Charleston, South Carolina.
The event was completely unhinged. At one point, West broke into tears after revealing that he and wife Kim Kardashian considered aborting their first child — claiming that his own father wanted to have him aborted.
“There would have been no Kanye West … because my dad was too busy!,” West cried.

West also made a controversial remark pertaining to slave liberator Harriet Tubman, in which he claimed Tubman “never actually freed the slaves, she just had them work for other white people,”
On June 20th, 50 Cent took to Instagram to blame Jay-Z for Kanye’s controversial comments about Tubman. The ‘In Da Club’ took to Instagram, writing “What the fuck did he just say. This is all Jay z fault, kanye’s first Rally. LOL.”
It remains a mystery as to why 50 Cent decided to bring up Jay-Z’s name when criticising Kanye’s rally, but if his past behaviour is anything to go off, the stalwart rapper is prone to a bit of trolling, as a treat.
