Andrews found her voice at a young age performing gospel hymns in church halls, before eventually becoming the church band’s musical director. Since then, the soulful artist has released two albums and her latest EP Far From Paradise shows the singers incredible growth and move into the distinct Oceanic Blues sound.

About to head out on tour, the Karen Lee Andrews live show features her bandmates Yannya Boston and Adam Ventoura on drums and bass respectively. Together with Andrews they bring her music to new heights on stage. The show features tracks from Andrews already extensive discography, as well as covers of many soul classics.

The singer’s Oceanic Blues style was born out of the artist growing up in a Polynesian family, growing up singing the culture’s traditional songs, and listening to Stevie Wonder and many other Motown records. The distinct style brings warm vocals and gritty guitars and reverb to the forefront, expanding on the classic Blues style.
