After conquering the stage of the inaugural Australian Download Festival, it looks 90s nu-metal legends Korn could be back on our shores this year.
Australian touring company, Metropolis Touring posted a photo of the album artwork of the band’s hit single, ‘Got The Life’ with the caption “Got the life… #korn”.‘Got The Life’ featured on the band’s 1998 smash Follow The Leader, that spawned a slew of hits including their career-defining banger ‘Freak On A Leash’.
This year marks the 20 year anniversary of the album, which the band are celebrating with a slew of shows in the US this September.
The band tweeted on June 2nd an image of the band’s logo with the text #FTL20, hinting at a further celebration of the iconic album’s 20 year anniversary.

In an interview with Music Feeds, the band “promised” to return to Australia for a proper tour after their Download festival stint, saying they’d be back as soon as their new record was finished.
“But we’ll be back to do a proper tour of Australia as soon as Korn is done making the next record. It’s just the way it is. We’re in the middle of making a new record”
Frontman Jonothan Davis recently released his debut solo album Black Labyrinth last month and revealed in an interview with Kerrang that the band would be finishing up the recording of a new album after their European tour that wraps up at the end of the month.
The rest of Korn’s year is looking pretty bare after September, making for the perfect Australian sized gap in their touring schedule.
