Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker blew up the internet last night after reports emerged that they got married in a Vegas chapel just hours after Barker’s Grammys performance.

Now, Kardashian has confirmed the news by sharing a sweet anecdote about the wedding, along with a bunch of pictures on Instagram.

“Once upon a time in a land far, far away (Las Vegas) at 2am, after an epic night and a little tequila, a queen and her handsome king ventured out to the only open chapel with an Elvis and got married (with no license). Practice makes perfect,” Kardashian wrote on Instagram.

While Kardashian has confirmed that she and Barker got married in Vegas, she did share that it wasn’t a legal wedding as the couple didn’t obtain a wedding license.

Reports of Barker and Kardashian’s wedding were first reported last night by TMZ. The publication claimed that the couple went to One Love Wedding Chapel around 1:30 AM Monday (American time), and about their own security and photographer along for the ceremony.

“I didn’t know who it was until they pulled up. I advertise as 24-hours but they wanted to make sure I was still there. They paid and they requested Elvis Presley, that was mandatory. I called back 5 minutes later and was like, I got an Elvis, and there they were,” Chapel owner Marty Frierson said in a statement to PEOPLE.

The couple confirmed their relationship in January 2021, but were longtime friends prior to becoming romantically involved. They got engaged in October 2021.

Barker also credited Kardashian for having helped him overcome his fear of flying and helping him board a plane for the first time in 13 years since the deadly crash that claimed the lives of DJ Adam ‘DJ AM’ Goldstein, Barker’s assistant, Chris Baker, and security guard, Charles “Che” Still, as well as that of the two pilots.
