To celebrate her 52nd birthday, on May 28th, Kylie Minogue launched her own brand of rosé and revealed more details about her upcoming album.
‘Kylie Minogue Rosé Vin de France’ is now available in the United Kingdom for £9 per bottle (roughly $16.50 AUD). Minogue spent two years working with Benchmark Drinks to develop the wine. It is available exclusively at Tesco stores in the UK, with no word yet on whether it will ship out to Australia in future.
“I have a great passion for rosé and have loved working for the last two years on developing Kylie Minogue Wines,” the singer revealed on Instagram.
“Working with the brilliant team at Benchmark Drinks, we have created a Rosé that I am truly enamoured by, it’s fresh, light and the perfect pink.”
Minogue has also shared more details about her upcoming fifteenth studio album. Speaking to GQ earlier in the week, Minogue revealed that the album will be titled Kylie and will draw on disco influences.
She has termed her new music “grown-up disco.”
“[It’s] difficult even for me to explain…but even grown-ups need some pure pop fun.”

Minogue revealed that disco music has always held a special in her heart.
“I loved disco as an eight-year-old, so it’s been a long love affair. I’m loving the modern interpretations of the genre now,” she said.
Alongside ‘70s disco, Minogue revealed that nostalgia for another time period has found its way onto her forthcoming album.
“There’s a lot of early 2000s love around at the moment. Both feel like good times for me, so I’m channelling that into this record,” she said.
There is no word yet on when her album, which is the follow-up to 2018’s Golden, will hit shelves.
