Definitely far from the shallow, now.
It’s been a year since Bradley Cooper’s remake of A Star Is Born landed spawned an unhealthy obsession with his and Lady Gaga’s onscreen chemistry, not to mention the runaway success of the movie’s lead song, ‘Shallow’.
The award-winning song was quick to become a chart favourite, the soundtrack hitting the double-platinum status in the US a few months ago. Marking the first anniversary of the film, Lady Gaga posed in front of a shelf of Grammy Awards and a multi-platinum record plaque boasting the achievements of the A Star Is Born soundtrack.

We’re talking over 6 million copies sold worldwide.
According to Variety, the soundtrack for A Star Is Born had the biggest combined sales and streaming week for a soundtrack since the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack was released in 2015.
‘Shallow’ won both an Oscar and Golden Globe award this year for Best Original Song, while also being nominated for four Grammys, winning two.
