I mean, you can’t knock Capaldi’s hustle on this one.

In quite the clever way to promote shows and music, Lewis Capaldi’s Tinder profile has been popping up throughout the UK on billboards. Having teamed up with Tinder, the Scottish artist has now announced that he’ll be giving free tickets to fans who match with him on the dating platform.

Two Tinder matches will be flown to New York to join Lewis as his gig in Brooklyn in October, while more tickets are set to be given out to shows throughout the UK and Europe.

It’s a pretty novel way to connect with fans and also up your dating game, don’t ya think?

“I’m very exciting to have teamed with the people at Tinder to give two lucky people the chance to fly out to New York to meet your favourite big lovely handsome celebrity (me).” Capaldi’s said.

“I’m yet to find love & Tinder Gold is the only lifeline I have left before I’m resigned to a lifetime living at home with my mother.”

Capaldi has already noted his interactions with Tinder earlier in the year, telling NME that he wasn’t having the best success with it at the time.

“It’s a barren experience for me, man. I’m not very successful at all.”

Capaldi released his debut album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, back in May, featuring the single ‘Someone You Loved’.

Having reached broader mainstream recognition off the back of the single, Capaldi hit a record by becoming the first artist in global history to announce and sell out an arena tour before the release of a debut album.
