Outspoken rapper Lil Pump has reportedly been banned from American airline JetBlue for refusing to wear a mask on a recent flight.

As reported by TMZ, the incident occurred on Saturday, December 26th on a flight from Florida’s Fort Lauderdale to Los Angeles.

According to the publication, Pump removed his mask mid-flight and became verbally abusive to staff when asked to put it back on.

Reportedly, JetBlue requested that LAX Airport Police be on standby for when the plane landed.

However, Pump ultimately avoided being arrested and has instead been banned from future JetBlue flights.

Following the incident, Pump took to Instagram to blast JetBlue in a since-deleted post.

“Fuck JetBlue and fuck everybody that working there,” he said.

In an additional post, be vowed that he won’t be wearing a mask throughout “all of 2021”.

“I ain’t gotta wear no fucking mask. Corona’s fake. Bye!” he concluded.

Pump’s refusal to wear a mask is just the latest in a string of controversies to have plagued the rapper this year.

Pump was a vocal supporter of Donald Trump in the lead up to the US presidential election and joined him at a Michigan campaign rally early last month.

“I’ve come here to say Mr President I appreciate everything you have done for our country. You brought the troops home and are doing the right thing. MAGA 202020 don’t forget that,” he said at the rally.

Despite his impassioned speech, evidence eventually emerged to suggest that Pump had never registered to vote in the election himself.
