It’s surprising to hear that Robert Plant had never performed Led Zeppelin classic ‘Kashmir’ live as a solo artist until the other night.
With violinist Nigel Kennedy in tow, Plant broke that streak, performing the 1975 track at London’s Royal Albert Hall. The last time he sang the song was with Led Zep at their much feted “reunion” shows at O2 Arena in London in 2007.
“He’s always pushing and challenging himself and immersing himself in music. When we work together, it’s a combination of power and creativity.”
