It’s Victoria’s favourite indie festival’s 21st and Auny Meredith promised us it would be special – you know, with speeches and too much champagne and your drunk uncle saying sleazy things to your friends, which is why of course they booked Nick Cave’s troupe of middle age crisis miscreants Grinderman to headline. Now they’ve announced the rest of the line up and it sure beats the stripper your mates got to perform at your 21st! As we – or rather they – leaked , a reformed Icehouse will be treading the stage in the supernatural amphitheatre, letting us all relive their glory days from before the festival was born and Aunt Meredith was a bit of a heartbreaker with all the local suitors spurned in her wake at the dances in the area.

In addition to the line up, Aunty Meredith organised a full lunar eclipse to occur during Grinderman’s set, which should see some rather spooky and unnatural occurrences amongst the crowd in the Supernatural Amphitheatre.
