Honestly, who gives a shit about New Years Eve these days? It’s all about New Years Day, and there ain’t no better way to get acquainted with 2016 than with a visit to Werribee Mansion this Jan 1st for arguably one of the country’s best new(ish) festivals Let Them Eat Cake.

Returning for its fourth incarnation, LTEC (of simply Cake as its affectionately referred to by regulars) is like no other in Australia, with its rakish feel, its architecturally abstract aesthetic and cutting-edge sound, this promises to be an adventure deep into a utopia slick with Babylonian sensory delight.

This year features the strongest line up so far including Jon Hopkins, Four Tet, Slum Village, Com Truise, Ben UFO, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Seven Davis Jr, and Daniel Avery, as well as an arsenal of local artists like Harvey Sutherland, Andras and Oscar, Kllo, and Lucianblomkamp just to mention a few.

To celebrate we’ve decided to put together a mixtape of acts that we cannot wait to see at the mansions. There’s a very high chance it’s going to sell out, so jump onto tickets at www.letthemeatcakenyd.com.au before it’s too late and give our mix a spin to get you in the mood!
