In case you missed last week, renowned whinger and now, victim blamer Morrissey took to an interview to voice his defense for Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey. Moz said that the two abusers had been ‘attacked unfairly’ and that the stories elucidated by victims were ‘unconvincing’ to him. These comments, rightfully so, received a huge level of public backlash in which Morrissey was called out for the insensitive and ignorant nature of his comments.
Whilst performing in Chicago the British singer has claimed that he never made those comments, stating he’ll ‘never do a print interview again.’
“I did an interview a couple of weeks ago for a German newspaper and, of course, let me just say this: That was the last print interview I will ever do.“Unless you see the words form in my mouth if you don’t see that, I didn’t say them.”
