It’s been quite the couple of weeks for My Chemical Romance and Gerard Way related news, and now to top it all off, the bands most famous album The Black Parade, has just re-entered the Billboard Top 200, making its first appearance in over 2 years.
Following a six-year hiatus, the band announced that they will be returning for a single show over in the Americas. The epic reunion show that nobody saw coming was scheduled for Dec. 20 in L.A. at the Shrine Expo Hall, and fans lucky enough to get a ticket will be ready to scream every line of The Black Parade back at Gerard Way and company.
Just as we were packing away our emo blacks and spiked collars, MCR has to come back and demand that we become emo again. To celebrate, The Black Parade has officially re-entered the Billboard 200 chart. Now we can be excused in blasting the album on repeat.
According to Chart Data, a Twitter page which tracks various Billboard charts and collects a multitude of data, this is My Chemical Romance’s first entry in over two years.

Details about the My Chemical Romance reunion have been slowly but steadily trickling in, and as of only recently, Thursday has been confirmed as the openers for their comeback show.
Let’s not forget that alongside this sold-out show, the band will be playing in Australia as well for Download Festival.
In recent My Chemical Romance news, the bands recently announced comeback show sold out in a flashfire three minutes.
A few weeks ago My Chemical Romance sent the world into shock with this post, revealing that the band will be playing a reunion show, and possibly may release new music in the future.
However, fans trying to score tickets when they went on sale at 12 p.m. PST faced a massively backlogged site with tickets selling out in a mere three minutes. Truly, we expected such a result given the gravitas of this band.
