Former Harbour booking agent Brett Murrihy has set up a new booking service called Artist Voice. He’s partnered with Illusive Entertainment Group’s Matt Gudinski, son of music biz entrepreneur Michael Gudinski to create a ‘full service’ booking agency that offers a range and breadth of services.
Even if the description of the agency sounds like a wank, they’ve got a pretty respectable roster, with artists like Bliss n Eso, Empire of the Sun, Howling Bells, Liam Finn, Lisa Mitchell, Operator Please, Paul Kelly and the Temper Trap on their books. “I wanted to create something contemporary and professional within the talent agency scene in Australasia,” Murrihy says. He added that they’ll be aiming “to provide a full service structure that has not been achieved previously in this territory”.
Making sure they have a finger in every pie, he explains: “the music industry landscape has changed a lot in recent times. Our goal is to be at the forefront of all live revenue streams for our artists and provide the best possible service for our clients.”
